Terms of use

Effective 30 September 2026. These Terms describe Anoma Radar as it works on that date. They are not legal advice.

Agreement

These Terms of use are an agreement between you and the legal entity named in the contracting-party block, operating as Anoma Radar (“we”, “us”, “our”). If that block is still unfilled, do not treat these Terms as a completed contract.

You accept these Terms by creating an account, continuing with Google, or using the service. If you accept for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Privacy notice explains how we process personal data. Checkout is also subject to Paddle’s checkout buyer terms.

The service

Anoma Radar researches public websites of companies you add, stores captures of those pages, and shows in-app company briefs, a competitive landscape, monitoring findings, and reports. It is meant to help a lean B2B team see which competitor moves may deserve a decision.

We do not promise to watch every page, catch every change, or send a weekly email. We do not promise advice tailored to a stored profile of your own product or strategy. Research follows the competitor URLs your workspace adds.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to form a contract. You must sign in with a Google account you are allowed to use. Keep that account under your control and tell us if you think someone else used your Anoma Radar session.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that creates risk for the service, for other customers, or for people named on pages we fetch.

Public-source research

You ask us to research public websites. You must not instruct us to open a non-public URL, sign in, complete a CAPTCHA, bypass a paywall, or otherwise circumvent a technical control or the law.

Our fetcher sends a crawler user-agent, refuses private-network addresses, and does not keep retrying 401, 403, or 429 responses. We do not currently treat robots.txt as a hard block. Google Gemini may also search or open public pages during research. We may pause or stop monitoring a source if a site blocks us, if a site owner asks us to stop, or if we believe continued fetching is unlawful or harmful.

Adding a company does not mean that company permitted the research. You are responsible for using the service for a lawful purpose in your jurisdiction.

Outputs and your decisions

Briefs, landscapes, scores, and reports are informational. They can be wrong, incomplete, late, or about the wrong company. Evidence is there so you can check. One invented pricing change or misread event can be costly. You remain responsible for every decision you make.

The service is not legal, financial, investment, tax, or employment advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for a safety-critical or legally regulated decision.

People named on public pages

Hiring and news pages name real people. You must not use the service to surveil a person, to build a dossier on an individual, or to make an automated employment, credit, or similar decision about someone named in a capture. A careers page is not a candidate record.

Evidence and third-party content

Storing and showing third-party page text is how the service works. Publishers keep their rights in that material. We grant you a limited right to view captures and excerpts inside the product for your own internal competitive research.

You may not resell the captures, publish them, or present them as your own scrape of the third-party site. If a publisher objects, we may remove or stop collecting that source.

Our intellectual property

We and our licensors own the service, including software, design, and our original analysis. You own your account and workspace configuration, including the competitor URLs you add. These Terms do not claim a registered trademark in the name Anoma or Anoma Radar, and they do not give you a right to use our name except to refer to the service.

Plans, trial, and billing

New workspaces start on a free trial plan. A trial does not become a paid plan unless you complete checkout.

Paid plans are sold by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle shows the price, tax, and renewal terms before you pay, then bills in advance and renews until you cancel. Cancel in Billing in the product or in Paddle’s customer portal. Refunds follow Paddle’s standard buyer terms unless we state a different policy in writing.

We do not promise a service level, uptime credit, or refund for a missed change or a wrong brief.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the service to break the law or to infringe someone else’s rights
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or try to reach data that is not yours
  • resell, scrape, or republish the service or its captures except as these Terms allow
  • use outputs to harm, harass, or discriminate against a person

Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close a workspace for unpaid invoices, abuse, legal risk, or a threat to the service or to other people. You may stop using the service at any time and email support@anomaradar.com to ask us to close your account. Closure of your workspace does not erase a shared company record other customers still use.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that research will be complete, current, accurate, or uninterrupted, or that it is fit for a particular decision. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid for the affected workspace in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes

We may change the service, including sources we watch and how briefs are produced. If we change these Terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after that date is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law named in the contracting-party block, and the courts named there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer law says otherwise. If that block is still unfilled, no governing-law choice is made yet.
